The Beverly Hills Cycling Classic -- the first leg of the 17-day International Cycling Classic Superweek Pro Tour -- returned to Beverly Hills/Morgan Park, bringing the thrill of professional bike racing back to the city. More than 125 professional and elite amateur cyclists competed in the 100K criterium through the hilly and historic southwest side neighborhood.

The Beverly Hills Cycling Classic was the first race in the International Pro-Am Cycling Classic, a National Racing Calendar event run under the rules of the U.S. Cycling Federation. Professional and elite amateur cyclists from Europe and the United States participated, riding 62 miles in a circuit between Longwood Drive and Seeley Avenue – about 50 circuits in all.

The day included the Tour de Beverly Family Ride, 5- and 10-mile family-friendly rides through the historic Beverly Hills/Morgan Park neighborhood, and tots were invited to participate in the Longwood 100, a Big Wheel race.
