January 24, 2015: For three decades, the Beverly Area Planning Association threw the community's biggest party every winter, drawing neighbors out of hibernation to dance, socialize and enjoy the company of friends. Everyone is invited to enjoy live music, dancing, hors d'oeuvre and dessert buffets, and lots more.
37th Annual Ridge Run
Monday, May 26, 2014: Established in 1978 as a 10K through the Ridge Historic District, today the Ridge Run, held on Memorial Day, attracts about 3,000 participants and includes 10K and 5K competitive races, plus a one-mile youth run, and a non-competitive tot run. Also, introduced in 2005 is a timed 5K walk through historic Beverly/Morgan Park.

Monday, May 26, 2014: One of Chicagoland's oldest and most charming neighborhood Memorial Day parades follows the Ridge Run and includes a ceremony honoring America's armed services. This parade honoring the men and women in America's armed forces snakes down historic Longwood Drive.
12th Annual Beverly Hills Cycling Classic
Thursday, July 24, 2014 One of the neighborhood's favorite summer events is undergoing some terrific changes this year! Now a race in the Prairie State Cycling Series, the 12th Annual Beverly Hills Cycling Classic will be held on a new night-Thursday, July 24 - and feature a pro am women's race at 4:40 pm and a pro am men's race at 6:30 pm. The Prairie State Cycling Series is part of USA Cycling National Criterium Calender (NCC), so this race is sure to draw some top level riders eager to make points and win prizes- the competition will be fast and furious. 44th Annual Home Tour
Spring 2015: Private homes significant for their architecture, history or decorating are opened for touring for Chicagoland's oldest annual home tour. Held in the spring since its inception, the Home Tour has been moved to the fall to take advantage of the neighborhood's lovely autumn colors. The 44th edition of the Beverly Hills/Morgan Park Home Tour promises the traditional array of beautifully decorated vintage homes open for visitors, as well as some surprises when doors open.
